By submitting an enquiry through the Website, by phone, or by WhatsApp, you consent to being contacted by YourSolar using the details you have provided for the purpose of scheduling a site visit and preparing a quotation.
4.2 Free Site Visit
A site visit carried out by YourSolar is provided at no charge and creates no obligation on either party. The site visit is conducted for the purpose of assessing your roof and electricity requirements and preparing a tailored quotation.
4.3 No Contract at Enquiry Stage
Submitting an enquiry or receiving a site visit does not constitute a binding contract between you and YourSolar. A binding Installation Contract is formed only upon written or digital confirmation by both parties as described in Section 5.
5. Installation Contract and Payment
5.1 Quotation
Following the site visit, YourSolar will provide you with a written quotation detailing the proposed system design, Equipment specifications, scope of work, total price, and payment schedule. The quotation is valid for the period stated within it, or if no period is stated, for 30 days from the date of issue.
5.2 Formation of Contract
An Installation Contract is formed when:
- You confirm acceptance of the quotation in writing or digitally; and
- YourSolar acknowledges your acceptance in writing or digitally.
Until both conditions are met, no binding obligation exists on either party.
5.3 Payment Terms
Payment terms, including schedule, amounts, and accepted payment methods, are as agreed and set out in the Installation Contract. You agree to make payments in accordance with those terms.
5.4 No Refunds or Cancellations
Once the Installation Contract is confirmed by both parties, all payments made or due under that contract are non-refundable and the contract is non-cancellable by the Customer, except as required by applicable law.
If YourSolar is unable to complete the Services due to reasons within our control, we will discuss remediation options with you in good faith, which may include rescheduling, partial refund, or another mutually agreed resolution.
5.5 Variation to Scope
Any changes to the agreed scope of work after the Installation Contract is confirmed must be agreed in writing by both parties and may result in a revised price and timeline. Verbal instructions to vary the scope are not binding on YourSolar.
6. Installation and Delivery of Services
6.1 Site Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring that:
- The installation site is accessible to our team on the agreed installation date

We will use reasonable efforts to complete installation within the timeline agreed in the Installation Contract. Timelines are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control, including weather, discom approval timelines, material availability, or force majeure events. We will notify you of any material delays as soon as reasonably practicable.
6.3 Discom Approvals and Grid Connection
Where grid connection or net metering requires approval from the relevant electricity distribution company (discom), YourSolar will assist you in preparing and submitting the required applications. However, the approval decision rests solely with the discom. YourSolar does not guarantee approval or any specific timeline for discom response.

You must ensure safe and unobstructed access to the roof and electrical panel for our installation team. Our team will take reasonable care of your property during installation. Any damage caused directly and solely by our negligence will be our responsibility.

11. Force Majeure
Neither party will be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations under these Terms or the Installation Contract to the extent that such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, floods, earthquakes, fire, pandemic, government action, or failure of third-party services.
